Silverstone, 24 August 2018 

After days of intense negotiations, the new satellite team of the Japanese company that will take part in the World Championship in the 2019 season has been made official. The official presentation of the Petronas SIC Yamaha Racing Team was attended by the President and Group CEO of the Malaysian oil company, PETRONAS Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin, the Minister of Malaysia Youth and Sports, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, Sepang International Circuit Chairman Azman Yahya and Sepang International Circuit’s CEO Razlan Razali demonstrate how important this project in MotoGP is for Asian leaders, who complete their presence in the three World Championship classes. 

Lin Jarvis, “number 1” of Yamaha’s sporting activities, announced the current World Champion of the Moto2 Franco Morbidelli who will have an official Yamaha M1 as his mentor Valentino Rossi and the French Fabio Quartararo as riders of the new team in MotoGP. 

Fastback Sport Marketing is pleased to be part of this project for the next MotoGP season.

The Petronas SIC Yamaha Racing Team has granted Fastback the exclusivity in the Italian Market for the acquisition of new sponsors.
