jonas Folger

A week before the start of the first official MotoGP test at Sepang, Jonas Folger decided not to race in the MotoGP 2018 season with the Monster Yamaha Tech3 team, as he does not feel completely ready physically and mentally at the moment. However, to be honest with himself and his Monster Yamaha Tech3 team, he made the difficult decision to skip the 2018 racing season so he could finally recover completely with less pressure.

I am incredibly sad to say this, but I will not compete in MotoGP in 2018. I have not been able to make the improvements I was hoping for, and at this stage I do not feel able to ride a 100 percent MotoGP. involved, but above all the Yamaha Tech3 Monster team, Yamaha Factory Japan, Monster Energy, HJC, IXON, Forma Boots and Rudy Project.I hope to come back one day and I want to thank you for your continued support.

Fastback Sport Marketing, having learned the news, will try to find a replacement pilot for the well-established Rudy Project company, even if it will be a very difficult mission, as all the fast drivers are already under contract. But as always in racing, we must be proactive, creative and we hope to arrive at the best solution. Already in the tests just concluded in Malaysia, the Managing Director, Fabio Barchitta, has moved into action.
